The point where the borders of Norway, Finland and Russia meet
Besides containing Norway’s largest bear population, the Pasvik Valley near Kirkenes is also notable for Treriksrøys, a cairn of stones that marks the point where the borders of Norway, Finland and Russia (and their different time zones) meet. It is located in Øvre Pasvik National Park, accessible to visitors via organized snowmobile tours.
