The coolest place to sleep in Northern Norway
Nothing says “arctic adventure” like sleeping in a hotel sculpted of snow and ice. Located on the out-skirts of Kirkenes, the SnowHotel is rebuilt every year in December in a different decorative theme.
Each room is outfitted with a real mattress set in an ice-bedframe and unique artworks adorning the walls. Other amenities include the magical IceBar, where you can sip vodka from glasses made of ice, a husky kennel, a reindeer park and a restaurant shaped like a traditional Sami “lavvu” tent.
